HOW TO BOOK
0131 226 0006
Tickets can be purchased on the day from the Festival venues, subject to availability.
A booking fee of £1 per ticket is applied to all bookings, up to a maximum of £3 per transaction.
MagicFest is an e-ticketed event so once you’ve booked your ticket(s) you’ll receive a confirmation email containing a QR code – this is your ticket. If you’ve booked tickets for multiple shows in a single transaction, this QR code will be the ticket for every show in that transaction. You will need to show the QR code on arrival at your venue(s); you can do this on your phone or tablet, or print it if required.
If you have a group booking and you are arriving at the venue separately, you should forward your e-ticket to everyone attending. They’ll be able to use the same barcode to gain entry.
If you do not have a smartphone or access to a printer, please call us on 0131 226 0006 or email boxoffice@magicfest and we can send out the printed confirmation email in the post for a £1.50 charge.
CONCESSIONS ARE AVAILABLE FOR:
Senior citizens (65 and over)
Under 16s (unless a child ticket is available)
Disabled patrons (companions go free)
If you require wheelchair access or a complimentary companion ticket, please call our box office to book over the phone on 0131 226 0006.
Group discounts are available for groups of ten or more people. Please phone 0131 226 0006 for more information.
Please note the Festival has a no refund or exchange policy, other than in the event of a cancellation. Latecomers may only be admitted at the discretion of staff and only during a suitable break in the performance. ALL SEATING IS UNRESERVED except for the events at the Church Hill Theatre.
A CITY LIKE NO OTHER
Edinburgh is a truly Magical City. Ancient buildings, hidden closes and underground vaults deliver a mystical atmosphere, which continues with enchanting and stunning landscapes outside the city.
HOME OF HARRY POTTER
Harry Potter fans worldwide will forever associate the City of Edinburgh with the image of J. K. Rowling huddled over a cold coffee creating their favourite fictional witches and wizards.
OTHER MAGICAL FEATURES
Edinburgh is unique; the entire city centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Edinburgh Castle dominates the city-centre skyline and from its ramparts you can look down on medieval lanes and elegant, sweeping terraces that hold over a thousand years of history, mystery and tradition. Yet you will also see a modern, dynamic capital where international festivals attract the world’s leading performers, galleries display cutting-edge art, and bars, restaurants and clubs create a lively, cosmopolitan atmosphere with a distinctly Scottish twist.
‘Edinburgh,’ said writer Robert Louis Stevenson, ‘is what Paris ought to be’.
